Window 7 and Office 2010 Deployment

Windows 7 is the most anticipated operating system in years, and Office 2010 is not far behind.

 Are you ready?

In the first part of this presentation we will show you some of what is new in Microsoft’s newest OS and application suite.

In the second part of this presentation we will discuss deploying Windows and applications using the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010, including creating network and media deployment points. If you have to install Windows more than once then this presentation is a must see!

As well, we VICE(?)ug, are helping vicdotnet.org, raise some funds for the Mustard Seed. I’ll just paste in the info, as basically I’m a rotten typist.

“In addition, the Victoria IT Pro group and the Victoria SharePoint group are both doing a presentation on the same night in the same building. We hope to have a fundraising raffle to raise money for the Mustard Seed.So far we have a bunch of leftover swag to include in the raffle including Windows 7, Visual Studio 2008, Office 2007, and a good collection of misc books, hardware and other software (including XBOX360 games).

If you would like to contribute something to the raffle, please contact me directly (Nolan.Zak@vicdotnet.org). Last time we did this, we raised $171 plus 2-3 dozen cans of food for the food bank:
